Eligibility Criteria

You can register your profile as a freelancer (software developer or IT expert) in our database if you meet the following two conditions:

1 You are a qualified software developer or an IT expert with coding experience or other relevant competences; and you are capable to work independently on software development projects (or other IT related assignments), either alone or as part of a software development team.
2 You are either a citizen or a resident of one of the 45 Least Developed Countries (LDCs), as defined by the UN and UNCTAD .

Profile Registration

The freelancer registration form requires of you to provide us with your personal and professional details along with your availability (number of hours per week) and the expected hourly charging rate. However, the potential clients registered in our database are only able to see selected information from your uploaded profile such as: your name, photo (if uploaded), education, acquired IT-related certifications, primary and secondary areas of IT expertise, years of work experience as an IT professional, types of the previously completed projects, names of the previous employers or clients, and the availability for work (number of hours per week).

Profile Matching and Coordination

The potential clients can look at the selected part of the uploaded profiles of the registered freelancers in our database under each country. Accordingly, as per the matching of your submitted profile with the nature of the available (outsourced) IT projects and assignments, the potential clients select suitable freelancers for their assigned tasks. The role of our (Soft Hope™) team is to act as a mediator or coordinator between the clients and freelancers through facilitating their communications and transactions to ensure that the assigned projects and tasks are timely delivered by our registered freelancers as per the agreed technical specifications and cost of development.

Verification Process through Local Partnerships

We plan to gradually expand our active operations in different countries (within the UN defined 45 LDCs) as we move on with signing up our partnership agreement with the credible local universities or IT related institutions in each country to ensure that all the registered freelancers profiles (accounts) in our database are verified after completing the due diligence process to examine the authentication of their personal and professional details through their submitted documents and photo ID.
